BWR (Boiling Water Resistant) plywood is a type of hardwood plywood that is fire-retardant and is made from a highly durable phenolic resin. These cleaners help remove stubborn stains from fabrics, upholstery and carpets. You can use them to clean greasy pans and cooking utensils, or in the kitchen when cleaning spatulas or scoops. BWR plywood may also be used for cabinet door stops and corner protectors in the home.

The important features of BWR plywood are listed below.

  •  BWR plywood is an exterior plywood grade used for a variety of indoor and outdoor applications. Since it is weather resistant, BWR can be used in humid conditions outdoors or indoors without worry.
  • BWR plywood has been designed with a range of waterproofing characteristics. BWR plywood is manufactured using a range of A grade phenolic resins or phenol formaldehyde adhesive used in its manufacturing. Flat random seams are made using technology leading to very little torsion affect
  • The exterior grade plywood contains less moisture-absorbing strength than the interior grade plywood. So, it is generally used for meeting construction requirements in the home, where moisture absorption is not a problem, such as closets and walls.
  • BWR plywood is warp free and has super strong bonding and zero surface core gaps. This makes it one of the strongest, most durable plywoods on the market.
  • The core layer is protected by VPI technology that makes it a termite proof plywood. The core layer is treated with various toxicant chemicals for achieving this effect.
  • The Indian Standards specification number for BWR plywood is IS:303. It has high tensile strength, good fire resistance and dimensional stability.
